I have to say that I am saddened by this. I grew up listen to Ray on WNTI. Other than the Yanks, it was only thing I listened to when I was going to bed. I will miss the knowledge and style and class he brought to the radio and the art form. I could only hope to be as talented as he was with his music selection, passion and voice. He was very cool!!!

The memorial by the way was very nice. I will be doing an old school jazz show in his honor on Feb. 1st at 9 am est. Thank you for your time and god bless his family and friends, my thoughts are with them.

On behalf of my mother Carole, Christina, Dana and I, would like to thank hrgnj for the beautiful sentiments and stories that Ray's friends and fellow dj's have posted.
Words cannot truly describe what an extraordinary man that he was. I am grateful that he had the opportunity to create and broadcast "CARLUCCI'S CORNER". Jazz and music were his most profound passions in life. I vividly remember many times as a little girl when we lived in Novato CA. back in 67'; we listened to the Beatles and Rolling Stones while playing instruments, maraca's, tamburine's and bongo's, singing at the top of our lungs. My dad was so into it, we all were. It was really cool; he truly did love all types of music. I accompanied my parents to many concerts while we lived in CA. My dad loved the Mothers of Invention, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane in addition to jazz.

Ray will be sorely missed by his listeners the people whose lives he touched.

He will be sorely missed by my family.

Thank you Ralph for dedicating your show Saturday to Ray.
